Detecting Magnetic Fields in Exoplanets with Spectropolarimetry of the Helium Line at 1083 nm

Published in ApJ

We calculate the spectropolarimetric effects of magnetic fields on the 1083 nm Helium line found in certain exoplanet atmospheres. We find a strong agreement with the analytic predictions and the numerical simulation (using HAZEL) of different parameters of the linear polarized absorption of this Helium line.

Revisiting constraints on asteroid-mass primordial black holes as dark matter candidates

Published in JCAP

We analyze the asteroid-mass range of primordial black holes (PBHs) for a possible candidate of dark matter. We find that the previously constrained mass range due to microlensing, dynamical capture, and other metrics are not constrained!
